Yes, you heard me right -- they serve sushi and it's darn good! You can also enjoy the bar and even dance. Dressing up isn't important. You choose - take your sushi to go; sit at the sushi bar and enjoy; or sit at the cocktail bar and dance a few twirls while you wait for your order to go.

Plan my trips to Grants Pass so I can have dinner at the G Street. Whether I choose Sushi or Chef Josh's Chicken Marsala (one of the only true Marsala sauces I've found) the friendly wait staff make for a great end to a long travel day. Topped off with a top shelf shot and I'm ready to rest and start my visit

This restaurant has a nice calm atmosphere and good food. They have one menu for American food and one for Japanese. The waitress was very friendly and attentive. The price was very good for the quality of food and service.

Okay, first off, we did not eat here. We stopped in based on a tip from the waitress at Blondies Bistro. What a good tip that was! A band was playing that night - Hot Gossip - and was so much fun! They played disco and 80's rock, and thoroughly enjoyed themselves. The place was packed with old rockers and the dance floor was jammed. We left early at 11:30, since we had to get up early the next day. Granted it was a Saturday night, and not sure they have music during the week. Also got a kick out of the fact that when you walk in the door there's a sushi bar, but walk another 10 feet and you're in a good old fashioned bar.

This restaurant has everything. Japanese and American food. It has a sushi bar that has, by far, the best sushi in Oregon. In fact, people sometimes stop on the way from Portland down to San Francisco or Los Angeles to eat the sushi here. The atmosphere could use a little updating...(but that sometimes is the case for great eating places!). Try one of their famous namesake rolls (The CJ Roll and Chris roll are some of the best known ones). The Shashimi Combo is a great treat too. They also serve great Japanese food, including teryaki dishes.

We had dinner here last night and it was the best sushi I have ever had! We love any of the sushi with initials in the name. Our waitress, Sarah, was great and we always request her. We go here probably 8 times a year and it's always good! I have never tried it for lunch so don't know about the time issues.

Driving from Southern California to Seattle-Tacoma, we stumbled upon this great restaurant: G Street Bar and Grill. Expected to have basic hamburgers but instead dared to try the tempting (and much more sophisticated) offerings on the menu. Very high quality vegetables sides to perfectly done rare steak, house salad was far above the average--especially w/ the gigner garlic dressing. Even had sushi. Fine-looking, creative choices on the menu to satisfy all cravings and provide something beyond the usual fare. Given our small exposure to a couple of items on the menu, I have confidence that the other items would be well-prepared as well. On top of that, the front host and waitress were both properly trained, gracious, friendly (but not overly) and helpful. Kudos to a job well done. Also looks like a fun place on Friday and Saturday nights w/ the brick walls, nice dance floor and band section too. The pricing, for the quality, was more than fair.

Great food and great musis

This restaurant has the best food but what is really excellent is the music they have in there on weekends. Pretty big dance floor and very laid back atmosphere. Was in there about a month ago and they had a band called "Hot Gossip" and they were excellent. Sounds like something you would hear in the LA Area. I will definitely be back to watch them and I hear they are there this weekend so "I'll be there"
