Lockwood & Meeske Pediatric

I have been taking my children here for years and they actually want to go to the dentist! Yes they would prefer the parents wait in the waiting room, but that is the way it should be. Some parents are too controlling and would only hinder their child adjusting to the dentist. Trust that they are professionals and only want the best for your child.

This is the second time I have taken my son here and neither time has been a pleasant experience. The first time, the nurse was very rude and proceeded to tell me how to raise my child. There are nice ways to express concerns to customers but apparently she was unaware of these. This experience left a sour taste but I thought I would give them another chance. The second time was worse. When we were finally called back she told me that my three year old son was to go back with her alone and I was to wait in the waiting room. This is only his second time ever going to a dentist and he was extremely nervous. (On the way there he said please don't leave me and I promised to stay by his side) She began to take him into the back until he looked back and saw that I was not coming and he ran back to me crying. I then asked if I could go back and she rolled her eyes and kept walking into the back. She then told me and continued to tell me that it was my fault he was scared and that he would have been fine if it wasn't for me. She said since I insisted on coming back they were going to have to do his check up in a different way. As a parent that made me extremely nervous! What were they going to do to him if I had stayed in the waiting room?! We ended up leaving before we saw the dentist and I will never go back there again! The only reason I gave them 1 star was because the receptionist was very nice.
