The mission of the Grand Forks Public Library is to connect the community, enrich the mind and inspire the imagination. The Grand Forks Public Library Vision is a cornerstone of the community committed to meeting the public's evolving needs by engaging minds and transforming lives. We have programs and events for Adults, Children and Teens. For Adults we offer an extensive fiction collection with Mystery, Science Fiction and Western Genres. The Library has both fiction and nonfiction books, biographies, large print editions, magazines, newspaper, audio books, music CD's, popular DVD's and the Grand Forks Herald Paper on microfilm complete the collection. The Grand Forks Room contains historic and genealogical information related to the community and the state of North Dakota. Our Children's Programs include Toddler and Preschool Storytime Summer and Winter Reading, STEM Kids, Robotics Club, Children's Garden Club, LEGO Club, Chess Club And R.E.A.D Dogs We offer a wide variety of Picture, Chapter Books, Easy Readers, Movies, Music and Audiobooks for Teens and Children.
