Denny's - Closed

We had good service considering they were very busy today. we got a table right away, it was wiped and our drinks came promptly. I ordered a grilled cheese sandwich which was supposed to have sliced tomatoes on it and be on sourdough bread = sounds good, huh? Not so, it came on plain old white bread and no tomatoes. Hubby's breakfast came with bacon instead of the sausage he ordered, and the egg was fried to a frazzle. Maybe the cooks should actually look at what's on the menue to see how things are prepared. Maybe on a slower day it'd be better?

I also used the ladies room and there were no paper towels. I told the hostess, who said she'd take care of it right away, but when I checked before leaving, still no towels. How do the waitresses and cooks wash their hands when they're serving food????

The new Denny's Restaurant in Grand Forks has without a doubt the worst service I have ever experienced in a Denny's Restaurant. In the week they've been open we have tried to eat there twice. The first time the srvice was slow but we eventually were served although it was very cold. The second time we were there we waited an hour and never did get any food. As we left we were told some ticket were lost. The waitress didn't bother to inform us of any problems and gsve an erxcuse of unfmiliarity with the menu for the slowness of the food after 1/2 hour.



I would hope that someone who cares about Denny's reputation checks into thia very poorly managed restaurant and takes steps to hire competent cooks and servers, and for that matter, better managers would also be a plus.
