I recently had surgery get for my gallbladder and hernia. The nurses were so friendly and helpful. The night nurse, Ryan, checked on me every hour and everyone was so attentive and compassionate.

Have mostly positive things to say about my experiences here delivering both of my children. I felt as though I was in very good hands among the medical staff in the OR each time, and the spacious hospital rooms made my four-day recovery tolerable each time. Nurses were hit-or-miss in terms on a basic, compassion level, but I got the care I needed.

Gave birth to both my children here. The rooms in the maternity ward are enormous, and I got my own private room. Had a great experience with the doctors and nurses in the OR (for caesarian sections). The nurses who cared for me afterward were hit-and-miss (some seemed dismissive and curt), but otherwise I would definitely recommend this facility.

My daughter had seizure last Sunday. The ambulance took her to the local hospital. I asked the nurse to give my daughter Keppra after more than an hour in the emergency room but she said the doctor is busy with another patience eventhough I told her that she can get another seizure without the medication. I have to literally look for the doctor and asked him why he hasn't give her the medicine and instead of giving her the medication, he blamed me for being late( about 10 min.) due to looking for the parking. I did talk to him about her not taking her med when I just came in and the nurse only gave her the Tylenol which I thought it was the keppra. Sure enough, half hour later she had another seizure in the bathroom and thanks God I was with her when that happen. NEVER again I will visit this hospital! I even asked the emergency doctor to find out whether they should increase her med. at this time and he refused to consult with the Neurologist. So un-professional!

I had a sleep study on 9/2/15 at the Sleep Disorders Center at Glendale Adventist. Prior to my appointment I spoke with Arlet Taimorian about ensuring my insurance covered the study. I have a PPO with United Health Care. She said she would contact United Health Care to ensure I was covered. Arlet confirmed my insurance covered the study and scheduled my appointment. I asked Arlet and the technician the night of my study multiple times if I would be responsible for any payment. I was reassured my insurance covered the sleep study. Within a month I received a $377 bill from Glendale Adventist for the study. They billed my insurance over $4400 for a study that costs $1200 for someone without insurance. Nearly 2 months after my sleep study, I received another bill from David Thompson for $20. I have never met David Thompson nor authorized his practice to bill or review my information. I called his office and his staff treated me unfairly going on about how educated the doctor was and his $300 bill to my insurance was to review my test results, which to this day I have still not seen. I was told by Arlet prior that my primary physician would call me to review my tests results, which he did very timely. When I called David Thompson's office on 11/9/15, I was told I would need to schedule an appointment if I wanted to talk to him about my results which would be billed. Glendale Adventist and David Thompson are running a bait and switch operation, if not also in violation of HIPPA. They are assuming you’ll just pay the $20 bill after they have charge your insurance (nearly close to $5000 when all said and done). This is borderline fraud. There was zero transparency from anyone I spoke to during the process and received zero benefit from the sleep study. If you need a sleep study, I would recommend doing some homework first and stay away from Glendale Adventist and David Thompson (who I have still never met and billed my insurance). Now I’m out $400 and have no copy of the tests results. I’m told I have to sign a release to get my results – again proof I never signed anything with David Thompson. Stop running this scam!!

What a top-notch facility! My wife referred to them as Ritz-Carlton of hospitals. To be precise, I have rated them 5 stars due to:

- Securing a bed took less than 30 minutes (I have heard of horror stories at some other places where patients may have had to wait 3-4 hours)

- Speedy & personalized Admitting (granted the person had a heads-up from the Doc's office that I was coming over, but she greeted me by my last name, and exhibited thorough professionalism, and courtesy while admitting me)

- All private rooms! (the West Tower, for sure)

- All rooms have TV (don't have to specifically pay to activate TV, like you may have to do in some hospitals)

- All rooms have a computer with wired Internet access for your use (free of charge) -slightly slow on the speed but sufficient to check personal emails

- Once ordered by the Doc, the CT Scan was ready for me in less than an hour

- Superb nursing staff - they responded to each and every request I made, and in a very timely/prompt/efficient manner, plus all of them are so nice, and friendly - they definitely above and beyond! Thank you, all!

The doctors there don't know anything about sicknesses and illnesses. when a patient goes into the emergency room to get treatment, it takes 10 hours until they take them inside the intensive treatment room, and they take almost all of your blood, saying that it's for checking the condition of the patient. Every single hour they take half liter, in 10 hours you count how many liters they taking all together. And like a dog they leave the patient In the room for hours, and the doctors there do nothing but tests and in the end, they don't understand what the illnesses are in that patient. After that they charge the person's medical insurance $ 15000 to $ 20000 and they do nothing but make the patient more sick then when they came to the hospital. That's what happend to my dad. They are only good at blood sucking like vampire and making this a profit for themselves, doctors like that and hospitals like that are not real doctors and don't help people in way, they make it worse for the patient then sickness does to the patient. This is what the Glendale Adventist hospital and The Glendale memorial hospital in Glendale, Ca do.
