Our superb, board-certified staff of general pediatricians and advanced registered nurse practitioners offer a range of care, from same-day illness appointments and well-child checks to sports physicals, immunizations and other general pediatric services.
Pediatrics Northwest was co-founded in 1980 by Dr. George Tanbara and Dr. Lawrence Larson. Their vision was to provide a highly skilled team of pediatric providers to care for the area’s children.
Primary Care
We make every attempt to schedule your child with their primary care provider at every visit. However, our providers’ schedules will vary from day to day. At times your child might need to be seen by another provider. When this occurs, your child’s primary care provider will be informed of the visit.

Immunizations
Regular check-ups are the best way to keep track of your child’s health over time. They include a physical exam to check your child’s development. Well child visits can also include screenings, immunizations, and other tests. These appointments are a great time to ask questions and talk with your provider about what to expect next.

A sports physical is required to participate in school sports. Annual well checks meet this requirement. These appointments are the perfect time to complete the form for your child’s school.
