IHOP

My husband and I entered this IHOP restaurant at 4:15 pm on our way home from a soccer game in the Germantown area. There were four tables in use at this time with plenty of staff in attendance. We placed our order expecting quick service and hot meals. Fourty five minutes later we were still awaiting our orders. The grill staff was unable to complete an order without lots of yelling back and forth with the servers. My husband's order of fish, corn and mashed potatoes was clarified several times with the grill staff during the 45 minute period that we waited. Finally his order of fish and corn was delivered without the mashed potatoes which arrived after he finished the fish and corn. My order of "three eggs over easy" came overcooked and brown on the bottom...the harvest grain and nut pancakes uncooked and luke warm at best. The other customers around us also waited a long time for their orders which were also incomplete or overcooked. Throughout our time in this restaurant, there continued to be a loud dialogue between the grill staff and the waiters concerning the orders which was very disruptive to all trying to eat.



Our server, Rinaldo, did the best he could in a very difficult situation and we commend his for his efforts.



I asked to see the manager as we were leaving the restaurant but was told that he was unavailable as he was working in the kitchen. Perhaps that was the problem but it was hardly the solution.



We are in the Germantown area frequently, but we will not be returning to this IHOP.
