        My name is Kaaren Register and I am the owner /operator of a small in home daycare called Kids Care By Kaaren. I am offering specialized care for your infant 0-2yrs old. If you are not familiar with home care it is a wonderful alternative to the larger day care settings with the same rigorous commitment to safety, cleanliness and regulated by the same rules and requirements through the state. My business is run out of my beautiful home located in Westchester Manor. My husband Joseph, a local law enforcement officer, and I chose this home for our family not only because it is a wonderful place to live but also due to the benefits it offers such as a large room that has been remodeled into a day care room, a safe and quit neighborhood with supportive neighbors as well as a centralized location giving easy access to parents during drop off and pick up times. Home care has many advantages. The first is that your child will be in a small ratio. I am only accepting 3 full time infants with one spot open for occasional drop off care. I am restricting the ages to 0-2yrs. to ensure the safety of having only small children interacting together. I also have the most experience with children these ages. You also will not have the otherwise unavoidable constant illnesses that are a major problem with larger daycare settings. I maintain strict cleaning habits that provide a daily sanitized environment and due to your child only being exposed to the same small number of other children you will have a much healthier little one. I am also required through the state to maintain rigorous safety standards as well as having completed a thorough background check. I also provide age appropriate learning opportunities. There is no television in my daycare. I provide stimulating toys, books, music, letter and number recognition, and as they grow fun art projects. I believe that play is essential to learning and sitting in front of the TV all day is not what home daycare is about for me. Their day will be spent playing in my miniature ball pit, pushing around scooters, playing with interactive toys and reading books together. I have 18+ years experience working professionally with young children and have learned many positive ways to keep little ones happy. I charge $8.00 per hour for up to 5hrs. If your child is with me for more than 5hrs it is considered a full day and it is $40.00 total per day. For drop off, part-time or full-time the rates are the same. If you are looking for full-time care the cost is $200.00 per week. Your child will be getting the best care available. call 352-213-7701

        Every day you will receive a detailed written account of your child’s day. I also maintain an open door policy. You are welcome to stop by anytime during the day to check up on you little one. I keep my cell phone in my pocket so that you can call anytime as well. I also allow for breast feeding visits or pre-pumped milk, cloth diapers (I will wash them daily), or any other special requests you may have concerning the care of your little one. It is my hope to give your child the best care, and I believe the best way to do that is to work as a team. I look forward to hearing from you and meeting your little one!
