Motel 6

For a place to spend the night, this place is just fine. The only problem I had was that the pillows were flat.

Okay, well yes they have some of the cheapest rates around Fredericksburg. But now I see why! The staff tries to be friendly. I will give them that and the pool is nice. (outdoor pool) BUT we stayed two nights. And you cant pay me to go back. The house keepers aparently have NO clue how to clean. We are smokers, so yes we got a smokers room. So, I figured there would be some smoke residue. That wouldnt have been a big deal.

Too bad that wasnt the case. There was poop rubbed in on the bathroom walls. Dead bugs on the floor, along with live ones. And FLEAS!!! Lots and lots of fleas. I am also a parent. This was horrible. The don't have tubs only a junky stand up shower. So, if you have small kids keep that in mind. The shower curtin was down right nasty! Stuff was goopy on it! (That was really icky) They do have a washer and dryer for guest to use. But its like a run down laundry mat with only one washer and dryer. And there are people half drunk hanging out by the door to it. The noise at night was ridiculous! We had a tow truck driver in the room next door. (With a very loud diesle) That I swear he turned on 8 times in a matter of 2 hours. Wifi is like three dollars a night with a very slow connection!

Well, this was honestly a horrible experience. Go across the street and pay $5.00 more for the night and get FREE wifi, a mini fridge and microwave. Thats what we did! Good luck. Hope to save someone else the pain of going there. I did also raise cain to the corp. office and they said they'd check into it with a sweet thank you letter. As if it makes it better. lol
