        Hires Automotive is a family-owned and operated source for automotive service, parts and accessories for all makes and models of cars and trucks. It has the inventory to handle demanding parts requirements, and its service departments are equipped with team members who are experienced using the latest computer diagnostic technology. In business for more than 75 years, Hires Automotive operates five Indiana stores. It has three stores in Fort Wayne, one in New Haven and another in Angola. The company can perform most repairs and manufacturer's scheduled maintenance from oil changes to engine changes while selling name-brand auto parts and accessories. Founded in 1927, the company has nearly 100 employees. It collects more than 20,000 gallons of used motor oil for recycling every year.

        Overall

        Adam hoots the service manager is a lier and a crook. Took my husbands avalanche there for smoking and burning oil. He came out to the waiting room and told me $900.00 would fix the problem. Later only to find out he gave the truck a tune up. He is a crook! We didn't have the money and he convinced us to do the financing thru a company they worked with. 900.00 later the truck is smoking worse and now stalls periodically for no reason. He is a BOLD FACE LIER. We've totally been taken advantage of that place even tho we went there for 4 years. Never again. Horrible, horrible service.
