Overall
They did a better job than ea...

They did a better job than east state dental. East state Dental told me I have periodontitis, and told me it requires various sessions for the 8-9 cavities and cleaning ( in 4-5 sittings). These guys took 2 for cleaning in total 2 hours. They also found only 3 cavities, and no perio! Problem is they don't bother asking or informing you what needs to be done. Also, the doctors step in and don't bother introducing themselves. I asked for Dr. Dwane but was examined by Dr Zent, which I discovered while paying. When I asked for re-exam by the preferred doctor, they tried to charge me for a second exam while arguing that they didn't know what I was talking about in regard to my preferences. Finally after 1/2 hour the manager was involved and she clarified that she was the one who told me that I would not be charged for a second one. Last but not the least, the hygienist seems to keep interrupting when you're asking questions of the doctor and answering them on his behalf. I haven't seen that any other place. Not only that, I was told that if one doctor is not available, other is okay. It's strange to be lectured about your preferences!!

Overall
Surprise Root Canal

I'm not one to brag, but I have never had a cavity growing up. In fact I have never had one until I started going to a Georgetown Dental Group. Now I'm not saying that I didn't have any cavitites, but it seemed like everytime I went in for a cleaning there were new cavities! At one time the dentist claimed that I had 3 new cavities that needed to be filled, but on the day that I came back to get them filled he was out of the office so another person checked my teeth and said that they all looked fine except for one. We did fill the one that needed it, but the other two did not need it at all!!

On another occasion I was telling my dentist how the tooth that was recently filled kept hurting and was extremely sensitive to cold. He said that it was normal and to give it some more time. The next time I went back to the dentist I informed him that the tooth was still hurting. Before I knew it I was laying back in the chair and he was going to town on my tooth (quite painfully I might add). After he was done drilling and had stepped out of the room I asked the assistant what just happened and she told me that he just gave me a root canal. A ROOT CANAL!!!! REALLY??? The dentist didn't even bother informing me that I might need a root canal.

This facility is very nice and they can usually get you in pretty fast, but boy will your pocket book pay for it!!!!
