Walsh has more than 25 years of design-build landscape experience in southwest Florida, with special emphasis on native and tropical landscaping on Sanibel and Captiva Islands. The company has the ability to deal with complex landscape projects, both residential and commercial and especially resort work, with a thorough working knowledge of the complex and varied vegetation requirements throughout the Southwest Florida area, Sanibel Island, Captiva Island and the other barrier islands as well. Our company has the resources to manage every landscape design and construction challenge and employs an interdisciplinary approach to our projects, collaborating with experts in other fields such as pool designers, irrigation and lighting consultants. Since 1982, R. S. Walsh Landscaping Inc has achieved renowned status for the successful design and installations of beautiful estate and resort properties on Sanibel and Captiva Islands, along with residential and commercial projects throughout Lee, Collier and Charlotte counties The design team consists of gifted landscape professionals with years of experience.. Richard T. Sbuttoni is a graduate in Landscape Architecture from ESF-Syracuse University with over 10 years experience in landscape design. Our computer-aided designer ( CAD ), Eric M. Thornton has more than 15 years experience. Mary Mccreanor is a graduate from FGCU ( Florida Gulf Coast University ) with a degree in Environmental Science has over 10 years experience in design and project management. Our commitment to a high standard of creativity effectively meets the challenges of intergrading function, aesthetics, quality and economy into every design. From design conception to project completion, our designers, supervisors and crews work together to ensure client satisfaction. Fred Montalvo, our field supervisor, has over 20 years of experience with personnel management and plant installation. Our team understands the climate, soil, and water conditions of the mainland and Sanibel, Captiva and the other surrounding islands. The expertise of knowing what and how to plant translates onto predictable results that are aesthetically pleasing and environmentally sensitive. The constant pursuit of excellence is one of the qualities that make R. S. Walsh Landscaping, Inc unique. Harvey Wilson, plant procurement & nursery manager, has over 30 years experience in plant procurement, nursery operations and plant handling and care. He travels the state to find the highest quality of materials.
