I had my crown put in on Friday & explained I felt rushed because they never showed me the work done or took a minute to explain procedure. So after my crown was put in I went into a private room to make appts & go over my dental plan. I explained the information I needed was not given to me & asked if the dentist could set aside a minute or two my next appointment to go over procedure or if I had any questions pertaining to work done. The reception explained that it wouldn't be a problem & we set up four additional appts to get my teeth healthy. Today I get a call stating that the dentist didn't feel a patient dentist relationship was working out & that I needed to seek dental work elsewhere. I now need to establish care with another clinic because they were negligent providing the time needed to answer my few simple questions pertaining to the dental work I received. Because I have received my crown, the dental office has to guarantee to fix anything that happens within the next two years. Because they have dropped me, my dental insurance stated to turn this dentist into the BBB because if ANYTHING happens to my crown within that time frame, I will have to pay full price out of pocket and more then likely will be paying for a new crown. There was no explanation given other then the dentist didn't feel a patient/ Doctor relationship was met. This is normally something that they figure out during the first appointment which the dentist had no issue with me. When you are paying over a thousand dollars for dental work, you should be allowed to ask questions about your work & they should be able to set a minute or two aside to explain procedure to you. This did not happen. After discussing this with the receptionist,she assured me that the dentist would make sure they would allow time for my questions. Instead they drop me at the end of the year after setting four appointments because they didn't want to deal with me. My crown should guarantee service at this clinic.
