AutoZone Auto Parts

Went to my local AutoZone to purchase a set of motor mounts. Gave the person behind the counter my vehicle description in detail (1993 GMC Sonoma 4.3 liter engine). The lady (Shawanna) pulled up the wrong vehicle on the computer, told me they would have to order the part and it would take a day to come in and asked me if I would like to order it. I ask her to show me a picture on the computer and it was the wrong item. She pulled up another item and it was wrong. I had to look at the computer myself to figure out it was the wrong vehicle listed. She was quick to sell me a wrong part and have me pay for it and wait a day for it to come in without even letting me see a picture on the screen. I would have been very upset if this would have happened. After we got the right part pulled up, she went to get it and was quick to check me out without letting me even see if it was the right part in her hand. After close inspection, I was on my way with the right part. I have gone through this many times purchasing parts, driving home to find out it is the wrong part. I like buying parts from Autozone and the attitudes of the staff are very friendly, but their knowledge of running a counter is terrible. If you are going to buy any parts from any Autozone, I recommend finding it yourself on their website, get the part number and let them know that is what you want at the counter when you walk in.



Second visit:

Bad customer service by a lady named Shawana. I wanted to buy a battery and she charged me for Battery terminal protectors and battery terminal cable protector lubricant. I did not want these extra items and felt it was wrong for her to sneak these past me and charge me for them without asking if I wanted to buy them!
