Herdt Home Inspections

DON'T USE THIS COMPANY!!!! They cost me thousands of dollars! They were recommended by my realtor as a great company. A year later when the house was inspected to be sold the guy found a number of things. The biggest was a foundation problem where a pillar wasn't touching anything. I never could get in touch with Herdt and had to pay someone to get it done. When Herdt finally contacted me (two months later!) he said it wasn't his problem and hung up on me. It wasn't worth going to court for since it would tie me up so long. Oh, by the way, the guy who bought my house was a building code enforcer for the state. He said he couldn't believe anyone would have signed off on this house.
