Perry Fence Company

Used Perry Fence for a split-rail fence around my property, got numerous estimates and Perry came in the cheapest...and for good reason! Took numerous emails and phone calls to get a general time to get the work done, and workers just showed up and forced me to call off work at the last minute. Finished job within 5 hours and just left without even letting me know they were finished, and I know why. Gates were uneven, mesh fencing was just thrown on and was even off the ground up to 4 inches! Purpose of fence was to keep dog contained and Randy insisted that a mesh fence would do the job, and puppy (3 months old) is literally able to bend/break it with his paws. Contacted Randy to get an estimate to replace the mesh fence with chain-link (did not even ask for money back) and took over a week for him to get back to me and promised to send me another estimate, which he never did. Poor quality work, unprofessionalism from owner, definitely do not recommended for anyone.

Buyer Beware. I contacted Randy Perry to have an underground dog fence installed, the worst use of my money ever. The product was misrepresented and upon installation I realized that I had lost nearly 20 feet from the back perimeter of my yard and 10 feet from each side. Prior to the installation I asked the gentleman to route the wire behind some tree stumps in the rear of the property, this did not happen. I asked why he had not placed the wire behind the stumps and his response was that his trenching machine would not fit. As the customer I believe he should not have relied on his machine, the wire only needs to be down about 5 inches so in my opinion he should have used a hand tool and dug the trench by hand. Incorrect installation and misrepresentation was not the end of my problems with Randy Parry. Training my dog to this miserable device was the next step. My dog, a shelter rescue, is incredibly timid but during the training session with the company representative he allowed my dog to receive a correction 3 times. Each time he laughed. I was infuriated. I understand that one correction is required but the other two times were purely negligent. I attempted to train my dog to this fence because I had all ready paid $300 toward the system but she was terrified. Instead of learning the system she refused to go outside and reverted to using the bathroom in the house. I called Randy and stated that I was unhappy and the dog was also, this system was not for us. Instead of being understanding he continued to tell me that I needed to make the dog go outside and that he has only known of a few dogs who could truly not be trained to the system. He then continued to tell me that he had not misrepresented anything about the product or the installation and that I misunderstood. I was furious. I asked that he come remove the system and told him that I would not be purchasing the system because I would prefer a hard stand fence. At this point Randy offered me an estimate for a hard stand fence and promised to credit me the $300 from the installation toward the purchase of a hard stand fence. When I received the estimate is was $1000 more than the other estimates I received. I asked Randy if he had included my $300 and he said no, in his memory he had promised me a $99 credit. Never again would I deal with this man for anything and it is an absolute shame that a man like this remains in business. As a kicker, this man works for the humane society yet he employs people that laugh when dogs receive corrections and are clearly in distress. I did ask for a refund and Randy informed me that he had all ready paid the laborer for the installation and I owed him an additional $99 because installation was $399. At this point I have paid $399, I have no fence and I will never do business with him again. Miserable and frustrating experience and I would never recommend him to anyone. Notice that his website does not allow you to leave feedback, I am sure there is a reason. I would give this business no stars but the system wont allow that so I was forced to give him one.
