I recieved a call back from Joel in less than 5 minites. I had a fairly complicated case to talk to him about and he was extremely knowledgable on the subject (MMJ) , much more so than any other attorney that I have spoken with, I feel confident in his abilities and I will definetley be having Joel represent me.

Sometimes people make a mistake in life that could cause them to find themselves in legal trouble. Not everyone is a bad person but we all make mistakes. I can bet that in some point in your life you will need a lawyer or know someone who needs one. I hope people read these because I recommend Mr. Denning to anyone that needs help. He is very affordable and will work with you if you need to make payments. He helped me threw this whole case while my boyfriend was behind bars. He never told me what i wanted to hear rather he told me exactly what to expect. He made me feel like he didnt have any other cases which I knew he did but he gave me the time and dedication as if I was his only client. He worked hard and now my boyfriend gets to come home today to his family rather then sit in jail till his court date. He gave me his cell phone number and responded to EVERY text I sent him(even on a Sunday night at 10pm) he addressed my every concern and I never had to go threw 5 people to talk directly to my lawyer. I only spoke with him. I am so glad my friend reffered me to him. He is a very honest, upfront, and fair man. I highly recommend Mr. Denning to anyone who needs a lawyer.

I never thought I would have to hire a lawyer, but I recently found myself in a situation where a lawyer was exactly what I needed. Finding one was exhausting. Over the course of a week, I called dozens of them in and around Baltimore. Because of the peculiar nature of my civil case, almost all of them laughed me off the phone or asked for way too much money. Disheartened, I was about to give up and just represent myself; it seemed like all the cliché things you hear about lawyers were true.



That is, until I came across Joel Denning. He had stellar reviews and an unpretentious website. From everything I read, he came across as a guy who loved law and simply wanted to help people. That sounded good to me, so I gave him a call.



Joel happened to be out of the office, but his friendly assistant connected me to his cell phone, which he answered right away. Joel informed me that he had pulled over on the side of the highway to take my call, and even apologized for the sound of traffic in the background. I could hardly believe how gracious and accommodating he was right off the bat. (Try finding another lawyer who will bend over backwards for a total stranger like this.)



After discussing the particulars of my case for the better half of an hour, Joel told me that he would do some research and get back to me later that evening. Sure enough, he called me several hours later with some prepared questions and had his assistant on the line to take notes while we talked. Not only did he take me seriously and empathize with my plight, but he also agreed to work within my budget and take on my case! I was thrilled.



Over the next month, Joel and his staff worked tirelessly on my case. Joel would personally text or call me at least once a week and let me know how things were progressing—even going so far as to send me pictures of his research. I was very nervous about my impending trial, but it was little things like this that comforted me and showed me that he genuinely cared about the outcome of my trial.



By the time the court date rolled around, I felt confident that the man I had entrusted with my fate was going to do everything in his power to win my civil suit for me.



And guess what? I won.



Joel Denning is more than just a good lawyer: he’s a genuinely good human being. Whether it was by making himself available to me when I needed his counsel (even on nights and weekends), or visiting the law library to do last-minute research the day before my trial, he went above and beyond for me every step of the way. Mr. Denning’s experience, wisdom, and desire to do the right thing not only impressed me, but impressed the entire courtroom as well. He went in there and shined.



On the day of my trial, I saw every other lawyer take the elevator to get up to the courtrooms. Joel took the stairs. Something about that still makes me smile.

Joel Denning took on my case with very short notice. He dropped everything he was doing to speak with me and made special arrangements to rearrange his case times so that he could represent me. He is honest and fair and financially reasonable. With him, you will have his cell phone and not have to wait for a call back should you need urgent legal advice, unlike other law firm attorneys. Should I ever need help again, I will never have to look for another attorney. He is the best.

After hearing such great reviews I am considering contacting him as my attorney in a criminal case. Should not be that involved, but was wondering what his fees are from those who worked with him before. Does he have a retainer that must be paid first before taking my case. Hourly fees? Any payment plans or are all fees expected to be paid immediately?

Look i know people look at these things and think yeh right whatever but I just want people to know that Mister Denning is an excellent lawyer and a real down to earth person I'm going thru alot like most people. He worked w me helped me stay outta jail, didnt charge me an off the wall fee actually it was way below. Hes friends with alot of people ( which can work in ur favor hint hint) lol. Neways if u need a lawyer hes one u need to try first!!! And the guy who wrote the neg comment ended up in jail for doing some real cruddy things i heard it aint cause the lawyer why u sittn in jail moron :)

After seeing a bad review for Joel Denning, I had to respond. I have used other lawyers in the past, and I have never met a better attorney. Joel displayed a sincere concern for me, and it showed in his presentation in court. I could see that the judge was impressed by his efforts on my behalf, and it was reflected in his final judgement. What was that other person's situation? Was he honest with Joel and the court? Was he so plainly guilty that no one could have gotten him acquitted?

I have recommended Joel in the past, and I will enthusiastically do so in the future. He's a great guy and an excellent attorney!

I am not sure if the other guy on here has the right Joel Denning. The Joel I know is honest, hard working, and was dedicated to me and my case. I had never needed a lawyer before and thankfully a friend recommended him to me. His prices were more than reasonable, he always kept me updated on my case, and he did exactly what he told me would do. If I ever need a lawyer again, I will be sure to give Joel a call. I highly recommend him. He is a great guy and an even better lawyer!!
