Big disappointment. We hired him to refinish our floors in nov 2013. It took him three tries to sand the floors evenly and still failed. This is after taking a deposit and not showing up 2 attempts to start the job for no excuse. We regret hiring his company.

Last year we had wood floors put in our living room and Franks initial quote was the most affordable. Upon meeting with him the second time, he gave us a final quote that was 33% higher than the initial quote! He can be good with his words and made it sound like he was still giving us a good deal. 1.We did not get to read the whole contract as he rushed through the process, and never received a copy of it. 2. He told us the job will be done in 3 dayshe dragged it on for two weeks. 3. He added charges to the final bill and we ended up paying just a few hundred dollars short of other quotes! 5. After the final payment, we noticed that part of the house missing shoe molding, in the kitchen, pantry, powder room and the old thresholds were not replaced. My husband and I had left him over 10 messages over the next three months, and he screened our calls and did not answer them nor did he return our phone calls. He never came to finish unfinished job...very unprofessional & unreliable!

Frank Caruso is an old-world type of floor sander. He works fast, clean, and is so affordable. He refinished 3/4 of our house (1000 sq ft) 5 years ago and the white oak looks like it was done yesterday. We were so impressed with his work that we are hiring him to install bamboo floors in our living/dining room. Again - so affordable. Chris K, Lombard
