A family-owned business since 1914, Groot takes pride in being an industry leader and does whatever it takes to support the needs of your business, our community, and the environment. We meet the needs of companies producing a large amount of industrial waste by providing the right kind of containers and service schedules. We can easily adapt for businesses with smaller amounts of commercial waste, and our trucks are equipped with GPS which enables us to track each transaction and record the time of service. We serve residential customers with well-maintained, DOT-certified trucks, trained, professionally uniformed drivers, and excellent customer service. Groot also provides LEED certified recycling services for industrial, commercial, residential, and construction customers. We process recycling at our material recovery plants, which we constantly upgrade to stay current with new technology for higher efficiency and lower cost.

        Poor customer relations

        Unfortunately, I would give this group an F rating. Approximately four times they missed my pick up. When I called, the asked if it was out by 6 AM. It always was, but they claimed it was not. They claim they have a system to record what time they were here, and the time was accurate, but the drivers claim it was not out. Even after I cancelled their service, I received a bill for the two months remainin and three extra months with no credit for the last missed pick up.. When I asked speak to a manager, I was told I would receive a call. It never happened. When I called back, I was put on hold. I am a corner house, with my address on one street and my drive on the cross street. Even so, I have had this service for several years, they should be able to see the driveway. I brought them two customers when new neighbors moved in, and they never miss the drive directly across from me. I would not recommend them..

        no empty promises like other haulers. they delivered picked up when they said they would. great customer service
