THIEVES! We were missing many salvageable possessions after our fire that they claimed were returned to us. Then we were told by company president Frank Samons: if we were concerned about losing items, we should have removed them from the house ourselves. IT WAS THEIR JOB TO CLEAN AND RESTORE WHAT WASN'T ALREADY DAMAGED -- NOT TAKE ADVANTAGE OF US! When confronted with an itemized list of missing things, they quickly paid us out for the full amount then had us sign a hand-written agreement not to seek any more restitution from them. If your insurance company sends them out -- SEND THEM AWAY on the spot. You have too much to worry about post-fire than a salvage company going on a shopping spree through your belongings. Many of the things they did return to us were never cleaned and still smelled like smoke. AVOID SAMONS SERVICES LIKE THE PLAGUE.
