Montclair Family Dentistry

I have been to multiple dental offices in my life time. When I went to Fredericksburg Family Dentistry, I had a completely different experience. The receptionist was extremely polite to me. I gave her my name and told her that I have an appointment. Not even 5 minutes went by and I was called back for my checkup. Since it was my first visit, I had the chance to meet the doctor, Dr. Najafe, which was extremely nice as well. We sat down and chatted for a bit about my dental history. I had some pain and I told him everything about it. Unlike most doctors, he listened to everything I said. Most doctors want to hurry up and see the next patient. But Dr. Hayat Najafe listened to everything I had to say. He is also very intelligent and knows what he is talking about. I then proceeded to do my dental cleaning. I was introduced to the hygienist that did my dental cleaning. She was also extremely polite. After the cleaning, I was given some tips and advice to keep my teeth healthy. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND everyone to go to the Fredericksburg Family Dentistry. Extremely polite people, highly educated doctor, overall a wonderful experience. I will definitely tell my friends and family to go there! Thanks a bunch Dr. Najafe and his amazing staff!

The dentistry is satisfactory. However, they sent me a bill more than a year past the event and immediately placed it into the over 120 day collection category though the failure to bill was their error. The explaination - new bookkeeper. Really? I dont want just solid dentistry, I expect timely payment requests and certainly if an error is found to either call or send the bill with appropriate backup billing information (eg services, costs, what insurance covered and whats left outstanding). I would also expect a policy that addresses a reasonable date after which they absorb the loss.
