Uptown Cheapskate

The first time was awesome for selling items I got a great deal, however the second time was awful! Four pairs of pants three being silver jeans two pairs of which were only worn once, and the second pair had some wear bit in perfect condition and the others Levi's and then a few shirts or sweaters, 30$ for all of that!! First of all should never have sent my husband because I wouldn't have walked out of there with that amount and second of all, 30$ for all of that I don't think so!! Y'all rip people off personally!! Wow!!!

absolutely AWFUL if you are trying to sell something to them. I took in 2 AUTHENTIC perfect condition Michael Kors purses and they offered me 24 dollars for both of them. REALLY? Absolutely ridiculous. Would not reccomend to anyone that is trying to sell their VALUABLE merchandise. Come back down to reality and realize that you need to buy stuff for what they are actually worth instead of low balling people. Will never use again.

Great for the buyer, a complete rip-off for the seller. I brought in over $3,000 worth of items to sell today, and was offered less than 5% of retail value. I wish I hadn't accepted the offer, but I was in shock.



I was told it would be around 20 minutes for my things to be sorted through, so I came back to hear my offer. Upon receiving my offer, the only details provided were that 22 items had been purchased. I had no idea what they took. I was extremely uncomfortable with they way things had played out. However, they DID tell me that they were not in the habit of purchasing sunglasses, due to customers often breaking them.



Imagine my surprise when I return home, dump out my belongings to see what I have left, and two pairs of designer sunglasses are missing. As if the complete rip-off wasn't enough, the employees STOLE an extra $200 - $300 worth from me. I have only terrible things to say about this place.

Please feel free to give us a try again, I'm sorry your buying experience wasn't up to our standards, we help customers all day long bring items in from their car. As far as the the pricing on the dress maybe the item was new?

Tons of cute clothes for cheap. I love their guy's selection as well - Polos are about $16, but there are tons of them for the guy that doesn't want to wear anything else.



I haven't sold there yet, but I sure love shopping there. I'm not a clothes snob, but I like to look good!

I brought clothes to consign at uptown cheapskates, and I carried in 2 extremely heavy bags by myself... When the clerk saw me (she had to have noticed I was struggling!) she told me where to put the bags but didn't even offer to help! I could look past that alone, but when i was leaving, still with heavy bags no one even offered to open the door! It actually hurt my shoulder pushing it open because my hands were full. I've worked in the service industry (and yes, retail does fall under this category) and if someone is walking out with a handful of things and you notice, you open the door for them, period. I also forgot a bag in the car and when I realized I had a few things to try on, so I put them on the nearest rack til I came back. When walked back in the girl was about to put them back, and I told her I planned on trying them on. I came back with more clothes to try on and they were gone, she had put them up. No greetings or friendly demeanors, overall poor experience and even poorer service. Clothes are also away overpriced... $20for a forever 21 dress? That's practically retail!!!
