Duke Construction

After losing our home in a tornado, we were referred to Duke by friends whom Duke had worked for on tornado damage 18 months prior. Duke helped us from the ground up in the rebuild, which basically was a new construction at this point. The craftmanship of the work was all top notch, and the crew working on the house was fantastic. There was a great amount of personal attention and touch that went into the rebuild. Duke also worked with us on getting the most for our money in the rebuild, and the house turned out great. The only issues we had during the process were that when busy, he was slow to respond to messages, and schedules could lag behind. However, all issues were always eventually addressed, and the deadlines were met. Our family is extremely happy with the rebuilt home, and would absolutely have Duke and his crew do work for us again.

Hired in early 2015. Work began on kitchen and stair lighting, installing fan in family room and installing new floor in hall bath, master bath and shower along with lighting and vanities for all three baths. Contractor not dependable. Over scheduled and under staffed. Was told to pay as work was done, was quoted to pay when complete. Work was never completed. Hall toilet installed incorrectly. Toilet leaked to main floor. Told the owner once it was discovered. 4 weeks later, not fixed and he's ignoring to fix the problem. Poor customer service. I was actually told that his "bread and butter" clients are his priority. The work we paid him for was clearly NOT his bread and butter.
