Oregon Energy Assistance, also known as OEA, is a program that serves several low-income residential customers and prevents Pacific Power disconnects. The program provides a range of energy education and heating and utility assistance services. It serves more than 1,700 households annually. Oregon Energy Assistance is a part of Community Services Consortium, which is a nonprofit agency that serves Linn, Benton and Lincoln counties in Oregon. Established in 1980, the agency administers summer youth programs and offers housing education and job training solutions. It also provides various emergency services and housing programs. Community Services Consortium, also known as CSC, offers work force development solutions.
