Chemotherapy
Other treatment options may include immunotherapy, photodynamic therapy, radiation treatment, and chemotherapy that is applied to the skin.
Iontophoresis
Iontophoresis – used to treat sweaty hands and feet, this treatment requires the patient to immerse the hands or feet in a shallow pan filled with water. A medical device sends a low-voltage current through the water and temporarily shuts off the sweat glands. When used every other day, it takes about six to ten treatments to decrease sweating. A TCA peel is a medium-depth peel used to remove fine lines, precancerous skin lesions, hyperpigmentation, and refine superficial acne scars. This treatment is performed by a doctor and requires a week at home to heal. The TCA peel is good for acne marks, hyperpigmentation and sun damage. It helps to improve fine lines and wrinkles. First, the Jessner solution is applied, then the TCA solution. This peel can result in moderate discomfort, as the skin will physically peel. For most people, visible peeling starts on days three and four after the TCA solution has had time to work on your skin. However, some people may peel earlier or later.

Since there are 11 different types of eczema, a dermatologist will try to pinpoint exactly what is causing symptoms in order to provide the best treatment.
