Overall

I wish I could give a negative review. This is the second time in less than two weeks that my internet has gone down. The last time the idiot technician has me resent the box with a toothpick which took it back to factory setting, erasing my username and password. Then he couldn’t figure out what he’d done. I had to mention the new network name. When I asked him why it had reset my personal one, he said it was because my password wasn’t secure and Wow did this for my internet safety. What a lie!!! I spent 4 hours that weekend putting the new WiFi username and password in. Now, one week later it! Is out again.

I pay extra for the internet 500 plan and my televisions buffer multiple times daily. When I do a check on my computer it is nowhere near where it is supposed to be.

They want to pay me $50 to refer a friend. The only people I would refer are ones I want to have grief in there life. Unfortunately, in Columbus where I live my only options are Wowless and Mediacom. I’m not sure which is the lesser of the two evils.

Overall

My internet speed drops from 12mgbps which is what I pay for, to 2.21 and 3.40, from several tests over an hour period of time. I called their tech service andd he wanted me to perform some tests here which I ccouldn''t because of my disability (I'm almost 80 and crippled). He offered to send a tech person out, but probably would charge for this.. I can't afford this. I changed from 5 Mgps on Nov 20th. My new bill shows an increase from $182 to $229. He refused to tell me why this much increase. I asked several times and all he would say is that this was a one time charge. He would not explain anything, but just wanted to go over the bill, item by item which I had on the hard copy of the bill already. For the amount I am being charged and the poor quality service I am experiencing, I have decided to go to a different company. We will call them Mondaqy.
