I helped a friend with no insurance who had a severe bleeding ulcer get into Dirne. Though getting through to a live person was tough each time I called to make her initial appointments, she was able to get in easily and quickly. The PA she saw was amazing and thorough. Though she could not pay, she was not refused, was treated kindly, and was well taken care of. If I was in such a position without insurance, I would not hesitate to go to Dirne. In reading other reviews, I have no idea what the person was saying that it smells and is dirty. That is clearly not what I have seen in my visits there.

I have been a patient of Dirne for several years & they are SUPER !! The two PA's that I've had have been wonderful, referred me to specialists that I have requested, sat & discussed my medical issues & only on one occasion been unable to be seen. I have also seen them take walk-ins (don't know if they were registered patients) For the public information, if Dirne can't fit you in, the KMC emergency room will bill you & even have payment plans, if you cannot pay when seen. You will not be turned down because you cannot pay in this community. Dirne has the most amazing person there named Ginger, who will help you apply to get your medication paid for. I cannot imagine being angry at such wonderful services.

I am unemployed and do not have insurance I broke a tooth and called the Dirne Clinic they told me on a Tuesday to wait until Monday and call and schedule an appointment. So I waited in pain for a week and I called Monday (today) at 7:30 int he morning I sat on hold for over an hour and then had to leave a message. I called back 5 hours later sat on hold for 45 minutes and had to leave another message. Still no one has called back. I have been waiting in pain for a week just to schedule and appointment and cannot even get anyone to call back. I guess I will just sit here in pain for another week or two until someone decides to call back. I realize that this clinic cannot afford to overstaff but at least expect the staff you do have to not be rude, and to do their job. I will be waiting in pain for a response should be interesting to see how long it takes.

I'm unemployed every winter & cannot afford any health insurance even when I do work. I called Dirne today 4/26/10 because I had a nice-sized thorn in my middle finger from a hawthorne tree. I could not remove it myself, it was deep. But first we called my wife's doctor (who is the best doctor she's ever gone to) but because I had never been there & had no insurance, they would not see me. They advised Urgent Care. I did not have the required fee for either place, to be honest, so we called Dirne Clinic, (recommended by her doctor & nurse some time ago if needed) & got right in within 90 minutes. We paid the minimum co-pay & qualified for free care. The doctor had a super personality & was gentle on my throbbing finger. We highly recommend this clinic & the great people who work there. Thank you Dirne Clinic. It's nice to know there are places to go when one cannot afford health care. R & G Thrush of CDA, ID.

After calling numerous physicians who did not 'treat' Medicare patients; I found the Dirne clinic. I highly recommend this caring place. I was treated with respect and regard for my input about my rare condition. I highly recommend this wonderful place to anyone who needs medical care. In addition, we might ask what we can do as citizens to help them in their work.

I initially had a great counselor, at a reasonable rate, but I have been fighting Dirne Billing for months, as they are attempting to back bill me, claiming that for 7 months, I was paying the incorrect amount. I have been made aware, that this is happening all through Dirne and that many people now have their accounts going into Collections. I wouldn't send my worst enemy there. This is a horrendous scam!

If I could, I would give The Dirney clinic of CDA negative stars. Being a patient at the Dirney Clinic has been one horrible experience after another. The office staff is down right rude and incompetent, the facility itself is dirty and smells of urine. If you are unfortunate enough to be either uninsured, or better yet on medicaid, the staff will certainly treat you accordingly. If you would like to make an appointment you must first wait MONTHS, and once you are a regular patient your ability to make appointments does not improve much. Calls to the clinic are regularly dropped, unanswered, or flat out ignored. The Office manager is unbelievably ignorant towards patient care, & treats every one as if they were trash. Having a serious disability or illness is hard enough on a day to day basis. Having to deal with the stress from your health care providers on top of that can be detrimental. My best advice to you is if you have to be seen at this clinic, be your own advocate & be organized
