        AS YOU know. AMADA upper turret bores will eventually wear and become enlarged. This is a common occurrence. And left untreated will greatly increase tooling costs and dramatically reduce accuracy. This leaves customers frustrated and some incorrectly blame their tools AS the source of the problem! TSI KONTEMPO sleeve is a process for repairing the upper turret on the AMADA punch press which extends tool life and eliminates the need for replacing the costly upper turret disk. We in essence bore OUT the worn station and insert a hardened steel sleeve. Thus ensuring an AMADA OEM tolerance. The process also allows for the sleeve to BE replaceable in the future this sleeving process is accomplished without removing the turret disk on most machines. The work is done on site. AT the Customer's convenience. Thus minimizing down time, a complete turret restoration usually takes only 2 3 days!.
