We had a recurring service contract with Stone Services and then had a heating problem right after one of their service visits. These things happen; technician came out and thought he fixed the problem. Bill of approximately $370. Except that the exact same problem recurred. Technician came out again and fiddled with our furnace, but charged $90 for reworking the same problem - his acknowledgement that I had already paid for the last visit was that he didn't charge me an additional diagnostic fee. I paid, but asked that the office give me a call. Literally, that night, our heat went out again, with the exact same symptoms. When I talked with the Manager, they were willing to send someone out again, but - of course - I'd have to agree to pay a third time, for them to muddle about. Oh, but they would forego the usual diagnostic fee. I proposed that they come out, and after eventually fixing the problem (who knew how many visits that would be?) that we tally up what the work would have been if they did it right the first time and subtract what I had paid, and I would pay the difference. I don't mind paying what's fair to get the work done. But that wasn't acceptable - they wanted to keep sending out a technician and charging regardless of how many times they'd visit without actually fixing the problem. Time for a new HVAC company that cares about getting results for their customers - especially ones that were already paying regularly for them to service the units!

Stone Services was excellent! Their alacrity to help me on such short notice is greatly appreciated. My heat went out around 7:00pm and the service tech (Brandon) was able to come to my house by 8:30 the same night. This is the only HVAC company I will be using from this point forward.

My neighbor referred me to Stone Services and I was very pleased with their work. They were able to come to my house the day I called and the men who showed up were very knowledgable and polite. I will definitely be using this company for future work.

Stone Services was definitely the best HVAC company that I've ever dealt with. The employees were very professional, put together, and helpful. They fixed my unit in less than thirty minutes and were very friendly. I am extremely pleased with the work they did!

I called Stone Services around...

I called Stone Services around 9:00 in the morning and they arrived at my house before lunch time that same day! Their prices were more reasonable than any other company I called and the owner Bill Stone was very helpful and respectful. If you need any work done, I would definitely recommend Stone Services.

I had Stone Services come out to my house and they did a great job! The service tech was very knowledgeable and polite. I would definitely recommend his services and I'll be sure to call them again for future work.

Horrible service, owner is condescending and abusive in his language. He is out for revenge if things don't go his way and he will sabotage your equipment if he does not receive payment.

My air conditioning system bro...

My air conditioning system broke down in the middle of a 100-degree heat wave. My neighbors recommended that I call Stone Services because they were very satisfied with a new heating system installed by Stone. I knew the company would be plenty busy because of the heat wave but I called, and very shortly Mr. Stone himself was at my door. In less than 30 minutes my AC was cooling me down. Now I know that when you call Stone, you can stop sweating it!

Awful service

My A/C would not cool. We agreed to an appointment on Thursday at 1pm. At 2pm on Thursday, I called (I called them, they didn't call me) to find out what was going on. The dispatcher told me she wasn't sure where the service tech was. They only had one service tech working at this time. She called me back at 2:30pm to tell me he could be there at 3:45pm. THAT'S NEARLY 3 HOURS LATE! I had not blocked off my entire afternoon and evening for a repairman, so we re-scheduled for 9:30am on Friday; which is assuming that I don't have to work, or don't have anywhere to be.



The repairman did excellent work. I asked about a discount since they had missed the appointment the previous day. I talked to the owner - Bob Stone. He was a jerk! He acted like I had interrupted some big important meeting for him to talk to me, and acted like I was from another planet to discuss a discount since they missed an appointment. He then gave a vague threat "You pay whatever you want and when you have a problem in the future, remember me".



My advice would be to CALL SOMEONE ELSE

I apologize for the incompetence of the office staff and the lack of communication. The office keeps track of the schedule for each day. I looked into why the service tech was not reachable via cell phone. He was in a basement repairing a coil and had no reception. Also, the repair took longer than anticipated. “Sir, I was in a meeting with a homeowner, when I received your phone call. I offered for you to pay what you thought would be fair and the next time you needed service we would be glad to help you. I, in no way, intended to offend you or make you feel threatened. I have a very reputable business and try to always work with my customers so that they feel satisfied with the work we performed. P.S. We do our best to notify our customers when we are running behind, but we are human and sometimes make mistakes too. Thanks, Bill Stone
