Mediterranean Heating and Air Conditioning

As an almost 23 year customer of this company, for regular servicing of heating and air, I was outraged at the $280 fee charged to install a new T6000 Honeywell thermostat that took less than 30 minutes. Internet prices on the exact thermostat ranged from $45 to $75, but when I called to complain to the customer support person, he tried to tell me it listed for over $400...what a load!!! Even if they charged $100 for the thermostat, how much could labor be...I am an anesthetist and I don't even charge $180 for 30 minutes of work. Their excuses were lame, like gas is expensive...I know it is not more than 5 miles from their office to my home, and I was told this was my special price for being a repeat customer!! They have definitely lost all of my business and anyone who might ask for a referral!!!
