At Treegorilla, we offer professional tree removal services for residents throughout central Arkansas. Our team has the knowledge and equipment to safely and efficiently remove all of your unwanted, damaged, and diseased trees.
Stump Grinding and Removal
Stump removal is done with a machine called a stump grinder. It chips away the stump and surface roots, up to a depth of 10-12 inches below grade. After the stump is ground out, there is a pile of mulch created by the stump grinder. Our basic stump grinding price includes grinding the stump, and raking the grindings (mulch) back into a pile over the hole.
Crown Reduction
Storm Damage Cleanup
Tree removal is often a sad reality for homeowners with trees on their property. Over time, trees can lose structural integrity due to disease or storm damage and need to be removed to prevent damage to people and property.
Pruning a tree is not the same as “cutting limbs”. Deciding which limbs to prune off is only half the battle. It is very important that each limb is pruned by tree trimmers at the right place, with the right tool, using the right technique, and at the proper time of year. An ISA Certified Arborist has been trained in pruning trees the right way, and the entire Treegorilla crew is trained by Certified Arborists on the proper way to prune. Sometimes tree pruning can be performed from a bucket truck, when there is good access to the tree, and the canopy is wide open allowing the bucket operator to move the arm of the boom throughout the canopy. Often tree pruning must be done by tree climbers, when there is no bucket truck access, or when the tree is too dense to move the bucket around in the interior of the canopy. When pruning a tree by climbing, using the appropriate safety equipment is a must. Treegorilla trains all crew members to climb safely using approved equipment and techniques. We never wear spikes or hooks on our boots when we are pruning a tree, only on removals. Spikes cause deep wounds in the stem of the tree, and can cause disease or decay problems.

Tree Cabling and Bracing
Supplemental support helps a tree with a structural defect or condition that may cause damage to nearby people or property. Our certified arborists perform a thorough examination before any support system is installed. Supports are commonly used for defects such as codominant stem; heavy or overextended branches; and weakly anchored trees. Cabling and bracing provide more support to limbs with weak branch unions by limiting movement. Contact Treegorilla to learn more about supplemental tree support systems.

Land Clearing
Tree Mulching
We can haul off the stump grindings and rake clean to provide the “make it disappear” option at an additional charge. Many of our customers choose to save the money for hauling it away, and just use the mulch in their flower beds, or for making mulch rings around trees, or in the their gardens.
