BIKAM contracts with local Musical Art Therapists, who provide free music therapy to patients with physical and mental limitations imposed by illness therefore restoring a sense of self and wholeness. Experiencing oneself as a creator within the treatment setting restores empowerment, and thus enable patients to become active partners in the work of getting well, not just passive patients who can only take medicine and wait.
