Dry Basement Company

Dave and his crew installed new drain tile all throughout my old basement. I have an old house in Hamburg with 3 different basement sections, two of which flooded every time we had a winter melt of heavy spring/fall rain. The price was right, the workers were professional, and after 3 melts and a few hard rains later, my basement is still dry. We would highly recommend Dry Basement. We have a house that was originally built in the late 1800's, and after many renovations and additions the only problem we still had was our old basement would flood every time it rained or snow would melt. David Matters had the right solution for us, and his workers were professional and were on time every day. We were very impressed with how efficient and hard working the whole team was. After a couple of very hard rain falls our basement is still dry!

I ultimatly was unhappy with the customer service and professionalism of this company. After getting 4 estimates for water damage and foundation wall issues in our rental property basement, I decided to hire The Dry Basement Company because the offered me the most affordable option/ solution to our problem. Rich gave me an estimate for the basement and had a plan for the repair, I signed a contract and was ready for them to do the reapir. The crew arrived to start the work, i gave him a check for the work and they began to remove remaining drywall covering my basement wall. After the crew removed the drywall i recieved a call from the owner telling me that the repair that they orininally quoted me for would not be able to be done due to the damage they found behind the drywall. I understood that they could not see the damage behind the wall and it was unexpected, I asked if they could still repair it according to what they had seen. The owner Dave told me he wanted to give me back my check and they would be able to repair it after he discussed it with Rich who did the estimates. Dave told me he would get back to me with a new price at the end of the day. I never heard from Dave at the end of the day so I called him and left a message. By the next afternoon i did not hear from him again, and called him and left a message. By the third day i still had not heard from him so I called again and also emailed Rich the man who did my original estimate, i did not hear back from either one of them. I emailed them again the next day letting them know I was disappointed with their customer service and that i would no longer be interested in having them do the work in my home. Basically I feel that when they saw the work that needed to be done in my basement they decided that they could not handle the job, handed me back my check and ran and I never heard from them again. Up until the point they showed up to my house i felt i had made the right choice for the repair, after they left i felt this was a job that they couldnt handle and were not professional enough to even contact me and let me know they couldnt do it. In all I wasted time chosing this company and had to start over and hire another company to do the work setting me back almost 2 months in getting the project done.

I had flood conditions and had many different contractors offered ways to rectify the problem but Dave Matters' Dry Basement Co. had the right solution and was the right choice.The quality of work was superb, done on a timely basis and a unlimited guarantee on his work that put my mind at ease. If you want the best job for the right price you have to call Dave Matters this company no doubt deserves 10 stars.

In the summer of 2010 Dave's company did a drainage job on my Buffalo basement. Dave and his crew were friendly, professional and did an excellent job. It was a very stressful matter for me and Dave and his company really put my mind at ease. I felt as if I could trust them in my home and with my project. I did my homework and Dave's company came in at a very fair price. They did more work for less money than the other estimates that I got. I would HIGHLY recommend Dave and his crew anytime. I have used Dave and his company for several household needs, primarily for basement leaks and drainage issues. Everytime I have needed him, his diagnosis of the problem and solution were spot on. He fixed the issue everytime...and was very quick to respond. Most importantly, he was reliable and fair. I have referred him to other people and they have been equally satisfied. When it comes to leaks and basements, you want to be certain that you have someone who is trustworthy and comes highly recommended...and I would recommend Dave's work unconditionally.

We had 1 bad crack and 4 little ones, but the weather was making it worse and it would of been a serious disaster. The work was done quickly, efficiently and came in under the price they quoted!
