Berry Pools

Berry Pool is garbage. I had my pool built in December 2016 and since then they are responsible for causing my porch to crack where they tied in the pool deck, I've had to have my heater repaired 3 times, have my salt system serviced and salt cell replaced, as well as having my pool pump replaced.

These people try to charge me $100 every time I need something replaced under warranty. After they tried to scam me on the salt system I called a Hayward tech from Edinburg and he came all the way to Brownsville and fixed the system for free under warranty. Last week I called Berry to repair my heater for the 3rd time and again they tried to scam me for $100. I knew that wasn't right so I called Pentair myself and they told me they were glad I called so they could stop pool companies from scamming people just like this. They told me Berry isn't even authorized to repair Pentair. They sent another company and repaired everything free. While the tech was here he pointed out that Berry replaced my pool pump with knock off parts and also let me know that my pool light was not operating correctly.

I called to complain and Michael finally called me back. As always he accepted responsibility for nothing. It's always someone else's fault. He said Pentair must have changed their policy forgot to tell him. So I guess the customer deserves to pay for his lack of expertise right? If anyone would like photo evidence of my issues with them I'd be glad to send them on messenger. For a man that claims to be a Christian his business practices are out of control. Choose someone else to build your pool even if it costs a little more.
