Overall

Horrible! When I was in high school I always had my nails done. I know the process of going to a good nail tech and getting an acrylic set put on. My nail tech at Eva's never did a manicure on me he just immediately started his electric file and put the acrylic nails on. He never pushed back my cuticles back so his line for the acrylic nail was never straight. Not to mention none of my nails were even or put on straight, and so thick! I kept them on for a week and after being so embarrassed/unhappy on how they looked I went back to Eva's to have the fake nails taken off. This is where it gets even worse. I got the same nail tech that put my nail set on. Instead of soaking my nails off, my nail tech once again grabbed his electric nail file and went to town on my right hand. He filed my nail so thin he burnt my index finger from the heat of his nail file. Then he cut my middle finger because he was so rough. Once they were thin enough he grab a fake nail and tried to pry the nails off my fingers. He got one to pop off the rest were stuck. Then he grabbed my left hand and repeated the process but this time had more luck with popping off the nails. That is until he got to my thumb nail. The nail tech was able to loosen half the nail but could not get the whole thing off. He went back to my right hand with the electric nail file and telling me they are still to thick to pick the nails off. After he did another round of filling, he realized that my right hand needed to be soaked. He got up and went and got a bowl and filled it with pure acetone and stuck my hand in. This is when he raged a full on attack on my left thumb nail. He used nail clippers, tons of fake nails and a really small set of nail clippers. While he was using the fake nails trying to slip them under the set he glued on me he ripped up a chunk of my real nail and since he wouldn't stop he ripped off half the side of my nail. I wish I could send a picture with this. it's so painful right now. He realized he had to stop on my left hand for awhile and went back to my right hand. Since my hand had been soaking in pure acetone, which just melts away the fake nail. The tech was able to file away the remaining nails left on me. Finally he was able to clip off the remaining nail left on my thumb he messed up. I got up to go rise off my hands in the sink and when I came back he told me that he was going to charge me 10$ for taking the nails off. I refused to pay after being unhappy with the original set and being burnt and cut and now missing half a nail, I told them no and walked out. I will NEVER go back to Eva's nail salon.
