When I had a small chip on my windshield, starting to spread, but only about the side of a dime, I chose Nelson Brantley to perform the repair work, because of their excellent reputation. But $59.95 later, my windshield did not even LOOK repaired. I had my doubts they had done any work, so I took my car instead to Hoover Windshield Repair, where Joel looked at the crack and was quickly able to determine that all Nelson Brantley's repair man had done was squirt some acrylic down in the crack, without first vacuuming out the air. No wonder my windshield still looked cracked and terrible! While Joel at Hoover Windshield Repair quickly (and flawlessly) UNDID the shoddy work of Nelson Brantley, and PROPERLY repaired my windshield, he explained how often glass companies will improperly "repair" your windshield in hopes that it will eventually break and be beyond repair, so that they will earn more money by replacing the whole thing. I believe this is the SCAM that Nelson Brantley was running on me. DO NOT GO HERE. Not only was their "repair" worthless, it was expensive. What I paid $59.95 for from them, I could've paid $40 from Hoover Windshield Repair, and saved myself a lot of trouble. I heartily recommend Hoover Windshield Repair, and Joel.
