Mazalea Travel Park

I thought being right off the interstate this campground would have been very noisy but I was wrong. It was very peaceful and felt just like a campground should. Like you can connect with nature.



The managers and assistant manger were very willing and able to help me with all of my needs.



I will definitely stay at Mazalea Travel Park again in the future.

This was the worst experience I have ever had in my life while staying at an RV Park, and, believe me, I know RV Parks. I have stayed in many of these parks across the United States over the past 6 years.



The Resident Manager of Mazalea Travel Park (Marion Harrison was his name) is psychotic and paranoid. He has physically assaulted guests of the park. That's right! He beats people up who stay in the park! He is rude, obnoxious, loud, and he abuses the employees who work for him. It is only a matter of time before he kills someone, or someone kills him.



The owner of Mazalea Travel Park (and the owner's daughter) look the other way and do not pay attention to complaints about Marion Harrison's behavior in the park. The reason for this disregard is unknown, but it probably has to do with the amount of revenue that he generates for the business.



The lack of grounds maintenance was unbelievable. The place was muddy and dirty. Mosquitoes, flies, and other flying insects were out of control. Standing water (the breeding ground for mosquitoes) was everywhere. Storm sewers would back up and overflow every time it rained.



I'll never stay there again!
