Thompson Builders

Had Thompson build for me on Ladys Island in 2015; last and only time you will talk to the owner is at contract. Multiple construction issues including cracked ceilings, peaking flooring, poorly installed fixtures. etc.....constant promises that they will "take care of it", but they never do. I have pages of documentation to confirm this. Do yourself a favor and check them out...I found out too late that there are multiple other unhappy customers, with same complaint...you don't get what you pay for from Thompson.

Worst experience we have ever had building a home...
we are 8 months into this nightmare and are not close to finished
They are unprofessional, ill prepared, have no attention to detail, no experience with true custom homes and don't show up on the job site for days at a time and don't even look at the joke they call "your allowances"
The rock trim on our house was estimated by Thompson at $4,500 and it was really $28,000
Windows were $6 k off
Cabinets $8k off
Floors $10 k off
No change in design.. Just bad budgets!!!
Run, do not walk to another firm!!!
