These guys are awesome!! I needed a good deal on a new HVAC unit for my home. They installed a new Carrier ramp up high sear unit that has literally saved me over $200 a month during the summer. Works amazingly well.
I highly recommend them. Did I mention their fast service?

I am compelled to acknowledge ...

I am compelled to acknowledge the outstanding support I received from the team at D’Antignac & Merritt Heating & Air. Had I known how professional, courteous, and in-depth the services rendered from this fine group of skilled experts was going to be, I would have not waited so long to call for help with my air conditioning unit.



I called and spoke to Teri first thing in the morning. Even though she was busy dispatching the crews, she took my information and told me she would call me back as soon as possible. Within the hour she returned my call and informed me that one of the teams would be able to come out between 1:00 and 3:00 that afternoon. She actually called me back at 12:30 to let me know the team was enroute.



Mr John Price and his assistant arrived and got right to work. After checking the system from top to bottom, literally, he explained in detail everything he had checked. He then went into further detail to explain why he had checked each area. Then he recommended the best course of action to get the system functioning correctly again. His ability to answer my badgering questions with ease, confidence, and yet again courtesy, was reassuring to say the least.



Professionalism and courtesy are great qualities, but they don’t cool a home. After 1 ½ hours of work the men left my home tremendously cooler than when they arrived. Coupling that with the aforementioned qualities and you have an organization that I for one will continue to rely on for all of my homes heating and cooling needs.

I sent D&M an email in the eve...

I sent D&M an email in the evening about the current online ad for a $89 clean and check and asked for them to check my second system ($45 more). The office contacted me early the next day. One system was a Puron Carrier D&M installed last fall, this would be the first service check. The second was my 5 year old Rheem gas pack. The service man came a little later than planned but stayed for 2+ hours and checked each unit thoroughly. He stayed even though there was a thunderstorm passing through and it was raining while he was outside. The service man was very knowlegeable and went over everything he checked. I had already seen the negative reviews before I requested the service, had low expectations and was very pleased with the results.

The secretary claimed it would...

The secretary claimed it would be a buck 48 for the service fee. I have never heard the term buck 48 meaning 1 hundred and 48 dollars. Asked why the fee so high man replied because its the holidays and that he can charge overtime as well!?! I have never heard someone say charge over time for just showing up. I have only heard overtime when someone has to work after working hours. 2nd the man showed up and just said the ac unit was bad. Claimed that i would need a new compressor which did not sound right for i just replaced a part and wire which i saw was burned before calling him out and when i ran a diagnostic the compressor was good. (I am an electrician but do not know much about ac units) So how can the man tell if he did not test it out or hook anything up to find out? The man wanted to schedule to come back in 4 days with the part and wanted to put freon in. The estimate was close to a stack or i should say 1,000. I am disabled and on a fix income, I told the man and he acted like he did not care, he was just happy to collect my 148.00 and be on his way. Things did not add up right so I called up busby's and they told me they would charge 58 dollars as a service fee to come out the next day. The next day busby's showed up tested the ac unit and instantly found the issue which was the wires being put back on wrong. (like stated i do not know much about ac units there for it was my fault) When the wires were put back on the ac unit kicked back on instantly. For the same price almost Busby's showed up, did a thorough check up, fixed the issue compared to someone showing up, looking at the unit, claim it needs these parts, come back another day. So in other words the service man for D&M heating and air took me as a sucker and his big pay day regardless that i am disabled and on a fix income. Regardless that busby's came out, I do not want to make it look like i am advertising but for any OTHER air and heating company could of showed up if you were certified or a GOOD maintenance man you would of easily saw that the wires were wrong and fixed it on the spot instead of claiming it needs this and that part and freon which it did not need. Very unhappy that i felt i was used as a scam and on top of it over charged a service fee regardless that it was the 4th of July holiday. Beware from this company. Check with other company's first before you consider D&M heating and air. Only gave 1 star instead of lower because the man showed up at a very timely manner right after placing call out. But services were awful.

I give this company 1 star, only because there is no way to give it 1/2 a star. This morning was the second time in a row that they were scheduled to come for the annual service and failed to show up. My wife stayed home from work (like she did the last time) to meet the service person at 8:00 am. At 8:10 she called the company and the secretary checked the vehicle's GPS and it showed he was still at home. She said she had no way of contacting him because he will not give out his phone number and she has no way to contact him until he gets in his vehicle and turns on the radio. I called at 9:15 to talk to the owner. The secretary said he was not in and she did not know if he would be in... Great way to run a company. For me, my business goes to some company where the customer is either first OR at least not at the bottom. I am glad that D&M has so many customers they can let a service technician decide if and when he works!
