Colleen Hall (also known as Colleen Blevins-Lunsford) has been a California licensed aesthetician since 1987 and a California certified massage therapist since 1989. After working in a salon in Auburn CA for 3 years she decided it was time to strike out on her own. In 1990 she founded her first facial business called Simply ahhh... in Grass Valley. After 10 successful years she decided to expand her menu of services to include spa body treatments and Simply ahhh...was transformed into the award-winning Wolf Mountain Day Spa in 2000, relocating to Alta Sierra. Colleen's was the first true day spa in Nevada County offering spa services that included hydrotherapy, thalassotherapy, body scrubs, seaweed wraps and steam shower as well as microdermabrasion facials, LED light therapy, natural nail services, and warm stone massage. The spa became an accredited member of The Day Spa Association in 2002 and Colleen was invited to be a board member of The Day Spa Association in 2005. After selling her business in 2006 and moving to England she soon resumed her career as a qualified Level 4 Beauty Therapist and co-owner of Coach House Beauty in Yaxley, Cambridgeshire. In the spring of 2014 she relocated back to southern Nevada County in Lake of the Pines (Auburn) California where she once again continued her ongoing career of nearly 30 years by starting Lovely Tones Skincare by Colleen, devoted to the care and well-being of her clients. Lovely Tones Skincare by Colleen offers classic European style and Microdermabrasion facials, skin care products, Swedish massage, waxing and lash/brow tinting in a modern, quiet and private location within Lake of The Pines.
