Beware! if you start services with them they make it impossible to cancel. I sold my propert and have been trying for almost 3 months to cancel. They never call you back.

I live in Oneonta and just moved to an area outside the city limits to where we had to sign up with Allied Waste for our garbage removal. Well, that was two weeks ago, and we have yet to be able to get anyone to come out and get our garbage, though they made sure they took their 44.97 out of my checking acct with a quickness. We havent gotten our can yet but they told us to just put the bags on the side of the road and someone would be out to get them. Well after numerous long trips of carting our garbage from our shed to the side of the road constantly because they keep telling us someone will be out there, we have just left it, and if it gets tore apart by animals I hope they realize they are in a contract with us and they took my money and it will be THEM on the road picking up scattered garbage, NOT ME. We have done nothing but got the run around with these people. It is real tempting to take my garbage to their parking lot and dump it there. Maybe then it would get picked up. I dont feel I should have to pay for services that are not rendered. So for those who have no choice but to deal with these people , good luck. I think it would just be easier to get a burn barrel.
