Brenda's Landscaping

Brenda's Landscaping, Inc., Alaska contractor's license 37870, assured us they could handle a mixed job requiring a lot of manual labor and a little skill, but we soon found out otherwise. They assured us they'd have our project done in 2-3 weeks or less, but after 2 months it was still unfinished. More than once they didn't show up when they said they would, didn't do what we specified or what they said they would do, and frequently didn't return calls or respond to other attempts to communicate with them. We often had to call and email repeatedly to try and get them to show up, answer our questions, or fix what their employees didn't do or didn't do right.



While the job started off well enough, it didn't take long before we started hearing excuses about why they couldn't or didn't do things and why they hadn't contacted us. We finally had no choice but to terminate them and look elsewhere for someone to finish the project. But that's not before we showed this company every consideration, even spending our time to do research and help them find parts they said weren't available or they couldn't find. Overall, we found Brenda's very inconsiderate and unprofessional and cannot recommend them. Our experience was that Brenda's is long on promises, full of excuses, and extremely disappointing in the delivery. What they unfortunately seem to fail to recognize is that business is all about the delivery.

Avoid this business. They do not show up when scheduled, make all kinds of excuses. Do NOT pay up front money, that was my big mistake because no they are no where to be found to finish the project. \

Thank you so much for all the work you did for us last year. We really enjoyed having the best lawn in the neighborhood. It looked better than Fenway Park!
