Provided by DexKnowsDishonest in their representation. Manager never attempted to resolve problem. Never returned calls by Corinne C - 01/02/2014I went to the Eugene Store. I was talked into upgrading a to a better Serger which I bought. I was moving in a few days to Portland and I didn't know if I was going to be moving out of state. The woman, Lindsay, who was new to the store said i should get a warranty. I asked her several times and had her ask her boss if my machine could be serviced anywhere in any state. She assured me that it could. Well i went to Montavilla in Portland and they said that it could only be serviced by Rich's and that they should have given me the Gold Guarantee, which by the way I paid for because the Gold Guarantee is $300 which is what I paid. When I tried to resolve this problem, Daniel who said he was the manager or owner totally blew me off. Montavilla said this happens often. Rich's is a very shady and dishonest business.I would not trust them at all. Also I called The Better Business Bureau to lodge a complaint and I am not the first complaint of the year.
