        Oceanside Hose Company No. 1, Inc. was founded on April 6, 1906. The company proudly protects 34000+/- people living in an area of 5.6 square miles. We operate out of 1 station that protects a primarily residential area. Hose Company is first due from the west end of Oceanside. Therefore, Hose Company responds to mutual aid calls to the west of Oceanside.We are assigned 3 pieces of apparatus, OFD Engine 246, OFD Unit 2462, and OFD Marine 6. Below is information regarding both trucks and our rescue boat. The company also has a chuck wagon ( 246-30 ) which is used as a portable kitchen. We opperate under the leadership of Captain Robert ( Robbie ) Dawson, 1st Lieutenant Joseph Dasaro, and 2nd Lieutenant Matthew Lewis.
