Teeth Cleaning
Proper oral care is imperative for a healthy mouth, starting in childhood and continuing throughout adulthood. Brushing and flossing at least twice a day with a fluoride-containing toothpaste and rinsing with an antibacterial mouthwash is the basic recommended regimen. Dental Sealants
The Center for Disease Control (CDC) recommends dental sealants to help prevent cavities in children up to the age of 18. Most dental insurance companies will cover the cost of this procedure. Sealants are shown to provide up to 80% benefit at two years and up to 50% at four years. If worn down or chipped over time, the sealant can be reapplied.

Resin Composite
The filling materials vary in color and price, and choices usually depend on the location of the filling. Porcelain or composite resins are typically used for teeth near the front of the mouth since these can be color-matched to the tooth being repaired.
