MY CAR WAS TOWED FOR DRIVING WITH A SUSPENDED LICENSE CAN THE BANK HELP ME GET IT OUT

Answer

Anonymous

probably not unless your behind in the payments, and it's been tagged for repossession.

My understanding is the registered owner is responsible for towing, storage fee's taxes etc. solely. But with that being said you can call and ask them, but I wouldn't get your hopes up!

You maybe able to get them to waive or defer a payment or 2 til the end of car payment loan or lease.

If they let you skip or defer payments that could help free up money to get it out of towing prison. towing and storage fee's add up quick

However, the borrower may still owe the outstanding balance of the loan, including any interest that has accrued before the charge-off. The lender may pursue collection efforts, such as sending the account to a collection agency or taking legal action, to recover the unpaid balance....Read More
