I gave this place the benefit of the doubt. This has been the worst experience ever and unprofessional practice. I can't believe this place is possibly still running. First off the only help you will get is from the receptionist Jacori and bless her heart she doesn't have the answers because they have her doing the dirty work and the poor new girl who should run as fast as she can. First I took my daughter for a cleaning and they took over 2 1/2 hours to complere. Mind you only one other patient was there. Dr. Tilman was busy flirting & chit chatting about personal life with the assistant Jennifer. My daughter sat in the chair where she almost fell asleep for the long wait. Felecia answered all of my questions and then changed my initial deposit day of 500.00 to the date my daughter was having braces put on. They never changed the date in the system and hit my bank twice with additional fees this was 9/28 and then again on Monday 10/3...so I they took their 500.00 early and I got hit with additional fees of 60.00 from my bank not to mention the items that bounced due to their mistake. I called over 10 times Monday, VM and on hold for over 30 min each time or I got hung up on. I go up to the office wait an hour and half to talk to the dr. and he never comes out and leaves and the new girl Sonia resets my appointment and promised at 3pm they will have a check ready on Wednesday. Wednesday mgr returns and no call or remedy from either still, I arrived at 4:15 and Sonia tells me to wait the Dr. will talk to me and Felecia is handling it. I waited over an hour again with my child waiting and they walk back and fourth 10 times. Nothing. So apparently the communication is bad here and I ask to talk to the Dr. and Felicia and then they tell me they left out the back door. So I waited the whole time and they both were well I aware this has been going on and they made the mistake not me and still refused to give my money back for services that were never rendered.

This dentist is very organized and has great customer services. Its also very clean. The people here are very helpful and kind to children. Highly recommend.

30min waiting time in reception room. 2 hours afterwards for the doctor. Employees have trouble operating standard dental machines and have issues taking common Intraoral X-rays. Had no idea how to take Extraoral X-rays. Barely cleaned my teeth first visit and forgot to record the visit/cleaning altogether. They had to retake all X-rays second visit. After this visit I was told a filling had fallen out. Doctor did not communicate any further diagnosis or explain to me what should happen next. After I got to the desk I had to ask what needed to happen and the receptionist stated a crown was required for the tooth in question. The procedure was quoted at 1,500 which I thought was a bit high. I had no pain or sensitivity so I looked for a second opinion just to be sure It was necessary. Long story short I discovered that I did not need a crown. In fact I did not even need to repair a filling and no filling had fallen out in the first place. The worst part is that Almeda refused to transfer my X-rays to my new dentist, even after I paid them to do so. When I called to request these X-rays they would put me on hold or just forward me to an answering machine. Eventually they blatantly lied to me stating that they had already sent them. As far as I'm concerned the quality and more importantly, the integrity of this business is inexcusable and they should be ashamed. Their X-ray machines are out of date, fluoride treatment is from a tube, and doctors can't communicate to their patients.

My daughter was sent her for braces in 1/2009. In the beginning it was difficult to get an appointment and there was always too many people scheduled so there was a long wait. Dr. Radford would evaluate and the technician would make the proper adjustments. The office staff was rude and confrontational at times, but once she had the braces in I didn't want to go to the added expense of having the braces removed and reapplied by another dentist. (I consulted with other dentist and this was the requirement to change offices) This already difficult situation became 10x worse when Dr. Radford retired about a couple of years later. My daughter would go 2 months without an adjustment. The brackets would break the same day or wires come loose every time. They were saying that my daughter must have been doing something wrong, but another orthodontists evaluated her in 2011 and said it may be the quality of the materials and improper placement. During this time period I suffered a serious in jury that left me immobile and I couldn't afford to go ahead and change dentist. I went in to have her evaluated in 11/2012 to check on her progress at Almeda Dental by Dr. Tillman. He advised that she only needed 6-12 more months of treatment. However, here we are 4/2013 and the same time frame is being given. I am at my wits end. My daughter is have her braces removed on Thursday and I'm taking her elsewhere. Can't believe I wasted so much time at the cost of my child's care dealing with these people. The office isn't crowded anymore either. I guess I'm not the only one who feels the same way. I noticed several people scheduling for debonding (removal of braces) when we came in last week.

BEWARE!!!!!!

DONT BELIEVE THE HOOPLAH!!! Trust me ive been going to almeda dental for almost seven years and watched this business crumble over the last 2yrs because of new owner/management.

The staff are young and unprofessional. My last few appointments lasted 2-3 hrs when I was there for just teeth cleaning.

Dont bother calling because no one ever answers & if they do they will only answer to put you on hold. Ive also called before to make an appointment only for the woman to hang up in my face because she didn't understand how to spell my name.

Anyone with common sense will not choose almeda!!!!!

The staff is very ghetto and rude. I drive 2hrs to get there and every single time there is a problem with scheduling. This time they just 4got to call 2 inform me that they couldn't see mu girls. wow 120 miles and all i get there's nothing we can do.

It is amazingly obvious that all of the reviews on here were done by the staff at Almeda Dental Group. I have never heard a single good word about the place.



My wife went to this dentist office recently and it was a nightmare. She arrived a little early for the appointment and filled out the paperwork. She then waited a full hour before she was brought in for x-rays with no explination for why. After the x-rays, she waited another full hour for her cleaning (also with no explination)before she gave up and told them she was done waiting and wanted to leave and take her x-rays with her. They said they charge $50 to give you the x-rays that you have already paid to have taken.



Also, she was charged up front for the services and was so frustrated when she left that she forgot to ask for a refund on the cleaning service that she never got. We called and were told that someone would call us back shortly to discuss it because they had to check something and get back with us. They never called back. We called twice more, always the billing person was out and would call us back. It never happened. I happened to get her on the phone finally and she said no problem, the request is already on the doctors desk and we should have the check real soon for the refund. 3 weeks later, no check and we have called multiple times and noone is calling us back.



The place was barren, in poor repair, was dirty, stained carpet and the people were unprofessional.
