In 1994, she graduated from Xavier University of Louisiana with a bachelorâ€™s degree in Chemistry. She then promptly entered Baylor College of Dentistry in Dallas, TX where she earned a Doctor of Dental Surgery degree in 1998. After completing an Advanced Education in General Dentistry residency program at the University Of Mississippi School Of Dentistry, Dr. Oâ€™Rourke-Allen returned to Baton Rouge. Always focused on the community, Dr. Oâ€™Rourke-Allen practiced dentistry in the public health sector for over ten years.
