The staff at both the Jefferson Street and Downtown locations have been fabulous and very knowledgeable. Courteous and very friendly. I'll definitely recommend Women's Specialists of New Mexico to my coworkers and friends.

Also, I forgot to mention that midwives are supposed to be more informative and caring than OBGYN's right? If not, we should definitely go to a doctor. I called and left a voicemail for the second time to receive a callback and nothing. She just told me at my appointment she was sorry she didn't call me back. This issue wasn't an everyday thing and then she managed to avoid the subject all together. Ok, you guys are right also..I need to seek out a different office. Suggestions?

I'm extensively disappointed in the customer service the desk girls give all of the pregnant women at the Jefferson office. There is a woman whom is always sitting in the middle, I cannot remember her name but she has darker hair at shoulder length and awkward teeth; she is absolutely rude and I feel tense everytime I see her for my appointment. I feel like I have to coax her into being nice to me. She acts like the OBGYN administrative part is so awful she'd rather be elsewhere. Even some of the nurses are super rude! They make me feel like I'm just a number on a list and like I'm bothering them by taking up their time. Women's Specialist offers so many great advantages (e.g. Up-to-date technology and beneficial information) but the atmosphere is anything but warm and inviting. I am definitely considering leaving and seeking a more welcoming environment for mothers. This should be an enjoyable experience for us women who want to take in all the side notes of our pregnancy. Please have a talk with your counter staff at the Jefferson office. If they don't shape up, there are many girls you can recruit with faster minds, better work ethic and customer orientation. Terrible place to go extremely rude and unprofessional staff, difficult to contact if you have questions or concerns (you have to leave voice messages to get answers... miss them calling you be prepared to call and leave a new message) , and if you have a medically relevant problem don't expect them to have you seen right away. My wife found out she had Subchorionic hemorrhage after a weekend night spent at the ER they completely dismissed our concerns in a negative way. They yelled at us for going to a non-lovelace ER hospital and threatened to not see us if we did it again. Don't waste your time with anyone in this building keep searching for someone that will provide you with a professional personalized service.

I've been a patient at Women's Specialists for the past 3 years. My experience with the two doctors I've seen has been excellent. I was seen by one doctor and referred for surgery to Dr. Wurzel. He is very thorough and spent a ton of time with me. I can't remember a doctor who has ever spent 30-40 minutes just talking to me about my upcoming surgery. I was impressed.

Most awesome OB/GYN in NM! I've been a patient with WSNM since 2007 and had two babies through this amazing practice. The first pregnancy went along pretty uneventful, but the birthing process was not as smooth as expected and I needed an emergency c-section. My provider was there for me from beginning to the very end, never letting me feel out of control and he made me feel pretty calm. The second pregnancy was also a c-section, but this time planned and everything went beautifully. I cannot say enough about the receptionists, the nurses that I called VERY frequently, and the many providers that took such good care of me and my children. The compassion and care that comes out of this practice is rare and I tell every woman that I know that if you want the best prenatal care or gynecology care, there’s only ONE place to go and that’s Women’s Specialists of NM. They sent my lab work to a lab that my insurance did not accept, they sent my bill to an insurance company that is not mine, they performed an unnecessary procedure that they said I needed and had me come in after that unnecessarily for the results. They did not treat me for an ailment that I do have that the lab tests said I had. They will not return my phone calls. RUN, don't walk, RUN THE OTHER WAY!

I can't speak for any WSNM location other than Jefferson.The offices were pleasant but the personnel and staffwere clearly stretched beyond caring and the lack of ability to communicate with one's physician entirely unprofessional. The office relies heavily on its answering machine andautomated voice directions. This seems to be the result of the physicians and npsrotating between several locations. More than disappointing.

This company has terrible front end customer service!! The staff that schedules appointments is rude and very unproffessional.
