My review is for the 12 months I attended class (twice per week). Stick fighting: I learned a lot of drills with the sticks, but never saw anyone at this school spar full contact stick. If you want to learn combative stick application, this is the wrong school.Plus the sticks and training knives are way over priced. Wing Chun: I never learned chi sao, or siu nim tao. or any of the basics (tan, bong, gon, quan, chain punching, tan da, ect) They just wanted to start us off doing pak sau and then jump on the dummy without knowing anything. In fact i question their understanding as well. JKD: I learned footwork well. kicks, punching, ect. i give it a better rating than the Wing Chun/filipino martial arts What I learned at this school is what NOT to look for in my next martial arts school. I am a better martial arts student than before because i know what to look for in a school. save your money and go to a school that focuses on one area not 10,000 different arts. good grief.

Don't go here. It's a dirty school which resembles a museum more than a martial arts school. No sparring ever, lamest workout I have ever seen at any school, you practice the same techniques over and over, you are forced to buy and wear the schools ugly shirt and sweats (who wears sweats any more really?) , you have to sign a one year contract, Sifu Thompson trys to milk every penny from his students which are not many.

Be real carefull of this place the taining is dull and borring, students must be bored to death, simple put it this way i have no idea where the head instructor thinks this is real all they do is swing in the air with sticks and perform arm grabs that simpli will not work in the real world, teacher has bad attitude, and is constantly smaking students trying to make himself look tuff, i looked at this place for a few weeks to see about joining and not once did i see anything of a real fight not even from the so call sifu that is what they call the intructor, weak it all works on a yearly contract and not worth the trouble. try somewhere else.
